  1. Some time ago in a farmer's house near Durrus it was supposed that there used be fairies in it every night. When the people of the house used go to bed the fairies used come in the shape of weasels. They used make the fire with the turf that the people of the house used to have inside to make the fire in the morning. They also used to be spilling milk and they used to put the clock in the middle of the house and then the people of the house got the priest to say mass in the house
