  1. Long ago there was a man working for a farmer in Scart. This man was from the North of Ireland and he went to the South so the people called him "Patsey North going South".
One night when Patsey came home from town he went to bed. About two o'clock in the night he heard a noise in the yard, so he got up and stood at the door of the kitchen. After a while he saw a funeral passing on the road outside the house. When the funeral had passed a man came up and asked him for a drink. Patsey gave it to him and then he asked him what funeral was it he said Patsey "North going South". A few nights after Patsey died.
