    Tadh (An Dear) O'Súilleabain, Gleann Cpéadac, Beannlpaige.

    Roof: The house was roofed with heath and rushes. The heath was procured on the mountains, and the rushes from the land.
    Bed: The bed was in one corner of the kitchen
    Fire: The fire was made in one corner of the kitchen and was composed of furze-bushes and bits of timber.
    Chimney: The chimney was composed of bits of stick and heath.
    Door: The door was made of timber. There was usually a half-door and a big door in the house.
    Windows: The windows were holes in the wall. Pieces of timber were placed in these holes by night.
    Floor: The floor was composed of hard clay or stone flags.
