The name of my Townland is Cranagh Mills, Summerhill, Athlone. There are twenty three houses in it. There is one hundred and eight people living in the village. The majority of the houses are thatched and the rest are slated.
The family name most common in it is Harney. My Townland got its name from trees that was growing there. The land is good for tilling. There is a stream separating Cranagh from Kielty. The name given to it is the "Súilín".
