On Hallow-Eve we buy apples and at night we put an apple in a bath of water. Then we get around it and duck for it on our turns. On Christmas Eve we go to the wood for holly and ivy to decorate the house. On that night we have a great feast. We get up early next morning and go to mass. We have a goose or a turkey for dinner. On New Year's night we play various games and the we have another feast. This is all to honour Christ who was born on Christmas night at Bethlehem.
