  1. Páirchín Shéain Dhíarmuda, got its name from a family who lived there about fifty or sixty years ago.
    Páirchín Clover, being opposite the door, was never ploughed, and grew very rich green grass.
    Páirch Garbh, - a very rough stoney field by the side of the mountain.
    Páirch an Aoil, is a field in which was a lime kiln in former times.
    The Pump Field, bears its name from a pump which is at the top of the field, for supplying water for house-hold use.
    The Long Field, is a very long narrow field.
    Cnochán a’ Rinnce, so called, because on almost every Sunday evening in olden times, the people around came dancing and sporting there.
    Faill na nGabhar, In olden times when cows were scarce, some people in this district kept goats instead. This field was usually the one in which the goats were put to graze.
