    A words of advice I will give into ye.

    Our Muskerry sports-man called Bold Thady Quill.
    Bold Thady was famous in all sorts of places.
    At the athletic races last year at Cloghroes.
    He was the only young lad that could court all the ladies.
    From Bantry Bay to the county Tyrone.
    There was not a young lady from Kerry to Coachford.
    But was mad to elope with him right through their will.
    There was not a man in Duhallow Kanturk or Killarney.
    Could court a young lady like Bold Thady Quill.
    Bold Thady was famous in all sorts of places.
    At the athletic races last year at Cloghroe.
    He could throw the long jump without throwing off
