    The gentleman did not know what to do. Again the girl exhorted him to send for the priest, but to no avail. Night was coming on, and the coffin could not be buried. The man at length in despair told the girl to go and get the priest. The girl was only too glad to do so.
    The priest came and at the request of the priest, he set about relieving the situation. He read some prayers, and one by one the horses were able to walk, but the coach could not be moved. Still the priest prayed on, till finally the whole funeral was able to proceed, and the harsh mistress was buried just before dark.
