    Centres were at Dromduff, Dromkeen, Carrach an Iarla, [?].
    I don't know whether the following is admissible: however I put it in. It is a copy of a racing poster in possession of Mr. James O'Leary, Merchant, Square, Macroom.
    Could not get room for it here -- but am putting it in farther on - it is dated 1814

    When commencing a game of football etc, two players stand out. One calls out "Chuirm ort", the other answers Leigim leat, "John Murphy agam", 2nd "Ml Healy agam" and so on - to form two teams.
    Preserved periodically / practically (?) to this day.
