    The friends that frequented my old cabin door
    And the comrades I loved when a child
    How in fancy I rove, by Mount Massey's green grove
    Or pluck the sweet violets in bloom
    But,its now I'll invite where I first saw the light
    Mount Massey the flower of Macroom.
