  1. We hear many queer stories about people who were taken by the fairies. There is an woman living in the village and she tells me lots of old fairy stories. This is one of her stories how her mother was taken by the fairies.
    She said that she was taken one night, and every night there was an old witch put in her place instead of her mother. After some time when they were getting tired, and afraid of the witch, her father went to Máire Ní Murcadha who was supposed to know everything and with whom there are many stories connected. He told her how his wife was taken by the fairies and he said that he would
