    left him go. He went to bed again and told all his adventures to his wife. He had all the blame on Maire Ní Mhurchadha. He said he would get up with the dawn in the morning and go out before Maire would come.
    When morning came he got up and dressed himself. He did not make any fire for fear Maire would see the smoke. Then he opened the door to go out and there was Maire sitting near the door. "Well says she How are you after the night". The man did not say anything.
