  1. Flummery was used in most houses some years ago. It was a healthy and delicious drink either by drinking it warm or leaving it till next day to jelly, it was delicious with cream.
    It was made by putting two cupfuls of oatmeal steeping in cold water for a couple of hours and pour, into a bowl of jelly, add sugar and cream to taste while boiling.
