  1. We have a churn at home. It is called a "barrel churn". It is four feet high and two feet broad at both ends. It was made fifteen years ago by a carpenter in Cluin. These are the names of the parts of the churn. The "stand", the "barrel", the "handles", the "cover", the "plug" and the "beaters".
    The churn is made once a week in the Summer, and once a fortnight in the Winter. My mother makes the churn. This is how the churn is made at home. At first my mother scalds the "barrel". Then she
