The Bó Riabhach was an enchanted cow. She came ashore in an island off the Crow called Oileán Aolbhach. She used to feed in certain places in this parish. She took a bite in a field in Killaugh called Gort na nDearantaí and she took another bite in a field in Kilkinnihan called Cnáit. She came ashore in the end of March and she said in Irish.

" Mo grádh fé an Earraig tá an geimhreadh caithte "
March borrowed a day from April and the day came pouring rain and the Bó Riabhach got perished and she died.
