  1. An Old Story.
    This is a story which I heard from my father. One night two cousins of mine went to a play. It was late when the play was over, and it was dark when they started back for home. By some chance or other they got separated. There was nobody home with either of them.
    The first was going along the road, and he heard a horse and coach coming behind him. He moved in on the side of the road to let it pass. The
