    the next day the mare and the foal were found standing near the well and their footprints are still to be seen in a rock.
    About ninety years ago a girl was cured of blindness at this well. Her father was a mason and he erected a cross in it in honour of St. Patrick, which is still there. There were several other cures got at this well.
