All the proverbs that I heard at home are:-
"Rolling stones gather no moss".
"A stitch in time saves nine".
"A sleeping fox catches no poultry".
"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do to-day".
"Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise".
"The darkest hour is the hour before dawn".
On hearing a bad account of any neighbour towards whom she was not very well disposed, there was an old woman in this district who used the proverb also:-
"To themselves it may be told".
Rang a cúig.
