    legs and crawling through openings were very common. A man in our village had some disease, and he crawled under an asses' legs and when he came out he was cured.
    A cure for the whooping cough was to drink ass'es**. I know some children who had whooping cough very badly and when they drank ass'es milk they got better.
    The seventh son or seventh daughter are supposed to have a cure for certain diseases such as ringworm.
