    There is only a grass covered mound near the shores of Lough Funshinagh to mark where one of the great O Kelly's castles stood long ago.A lot of money was supposed to be thrown into a pump beside the castle when the O Kelly's where fleeing from it. Beef which was used in the castle used to be killed on Inis na Maírcfheola in Lough Funshinagh.
    The castle was knocked down from Ballagh island in Lough Funshinagh.
