    Fairy flax is supposed to be a good medicine. There is a weed with a red spot in the middle of the leaf, it was supposed to be growing at the foot of the cross when our Lord was hanging on it and a drop of blood fell on it. It is called Our Lord's Weed. It would stop your finger from bleeding.
    "Chicken Weed" mostly grows in bad land. There is only one root to a big heap of it.
    Thistles grow in good land. Rushes grow in wet land.
    Hemlock is a very small weed with two leaves, it kills fowl. Dandelion is supposed to cure heart disease, cupógs, briosgáns, carra.
    Docks are good for a nettle sting. House leak would kill cattle if they ate it.
    Praiseac seed grows in wheat, it has a black head.
    There is a weed called Cuckoo Charlie. People eat it. It has a very sour taste. House leak is a cure for sore eyes.
