  1. A Gentle man called Michael Coyle Kiltoom came to a blacksmith one night to shoe his horse. The smith got up and lit a fire to get the shoe ready. The gentleman blew the bellows while the smith was welding the iron. When the smith had three shoes on he found the horse had only three feet. The gentle man offered him money but he would not take it. This same man visited several smiths but he said it was an evil spirit.
