    where the man was working and he had a rope. He threw the rope around the rafter and hung himself. The farmer asked the boy who hung his son and the boy said himself. The the farmer asked him why didn't he stop him. And the boy said "I saw him jump into the pond so I thought he was hanging himself up to dry."

  2. Once upon a time an old woman lived alone. She went one evening to milk the cows. When she was milking she saw a white woman with lovely hair. The woman said good-night but she did not answer. The woman got afraid and she went home but the lady followed her. When she was going in the door she disappeared.

  3. Once night a poor woman was in a chapel and she fell asleep. When the boy came to close the door he did not see her so he locked the chapel. At twelve o'clock a man came out on the altar and he asked was there anyone to serve mass. Nobody answered and he disappeared. The next day the woman told the priest. That night the priest waited up and at twelve o'clock
