  1. One day a cobbler went into a shop to buy wax. On coming home he crossed a field and he saw a hare. He threw the wax at the hare but the hair got away. At a gap he saw two hares stuck together with the wax.

  2. Paddy the Irish man was walking down the road one day and he lost a halfpenny and he could not find the halfpenny as it was dark. So he went into a shop to buy a penny candle to look for the half penny.
