  1. One night there was a wedding and the fairies came to take the bride. They could not take her away without having a living man with them. On the road they got a man and they had him sitting on the cross stick over the table when the bride was sitting to tea. Just as the fairies were going to take her she let a sneeze and the man on the cross stick said "God bless us". On the minute he was shoved down to the crowd and he told the story.
