  1. Once upon a time there was an' ould woman and she didn't know what to do for childer. This day an' ould man dropped in to light his pipe an' the ould woman cried out "What will I do for childer, oh, what will I do for childer" and the ould man tould her "When you get up in the morning go out into the garden and pull three honey-suckles and take three sucks of honey.
    When the woman got up in the morning she did as the ould man had tould her. So she had two beautiful girls and one ugly one. She was so ugly that the called her "Hairy Maureen" One day the ould
