    They shot him at last, tied him with a rope to a horses tail and dragged him as far as Palace Anne and left him there untill his people came for him.

  2. There was a priest stationed in Clonakilty, named father Mac Carthy. One day he met a Protestant man named Wright, who called the priest a rotten cat. The priest told him that he would have enough of cats every day. From that day Wright could not eat a bite, but cats were jumping up snapping the food from him.
