  1. Birds that are found in this district are:- cuckoo, corncrake, crow, robin, thrush, wren, wagtail, magpie, blackbird, redbreast. The only birds that migrate are:- the cuckoo, corncrake, swallow. These are the the birds that go away to warmer countries as they cannot endure the cold of Winter here
    The skylark builds his nest in a marshy place and it is seldom he flies into the bushes. She lays from three to four eggs and while they are being hatched she scarcely leaves the nest.
    The cuckoo does not build her own nest, she goes away and lays her eggs in another nest.
