  1. There is only one forge in the parish that I know about The man that owns it is Charlie Hegarty. It is not a very big forge. The forge is situated in Ballyyourane on the side of the road from Bantry to Skibbereen.
    There are four crosses near it one of them going north one south one east and one west. There is a stream running near it. It is a slate roof that's on it. The shape of the door is square. There is only one hob in it.
