    Charley Hegarty's father and grandfather were smiths and Timothy Hayes's father was a smith and John Crowley's father was a smith and Mr. Neill learned the trade from a smith in Bantry. Charley Hegarty's forge is situated by Ballyourane cross. Timothy Hayes's forge is situated in Killeenleigh village. John Crowley's forge is situated near Dreeny Creamry. Mr. Neills forge is situated by Durrus road station. The Glounapooka river is running near Charley Hegarty's forge. The Killenleigh river is running
