    By the side of a dear crystal fountain,
    Where the old village Church stands near.
    Where the tomb decked with flower's beneath the willow for the memory of a tender mothers grave,

    I shall never see thee more gentle mother,
    In the field's where the wild flowers wave,
    And its many the time we picked them,
    for the memory or a kind mothers grave,

    of a mother is no telling,
    Until the dear one is gone,
    Every hair of her head,
    while she is missing is felt by her daughter or son,
