There is a Castle near the mouth of Castlehaven harbour. It is from the castle it got its name Castlehaven. There was a lot of battles fought there between the Irish and English long ago. The castle is after falling now, it was knocked down by a storm two years ago. The owner of the castle was Sir Hubert Townsen.
