  1. Miss McCarthy-Morrogh was the landlord of Rathravane. She did not live there at any time. She was a fairly good landlord. There was an eviction in Raheen about fifty years ago. The evicted people went to some out-houses for a few days but they returned to their home again. I do not know how the McCarthy-Morrogh's got the land of Rathravane. I never heard of any tithes collected in the district in former times. I never heard of any stories about tithes.
