  1. One night a man by the name of Mr. O Sullivan of Whiddy Island was blessing his house. It was a new house so he went from room to room and from place to place shaking holy water.
    When he was finished he noticed the cat by the fire and going up he said to him "You might as well have it as the rest of them." He just had power to shake one drop over him when the cat jumped up and broke everything in the house.

  2. One night a man was coming home from a dance, when his attention was attracted to a blue light under a bush. The next thing he saw was a little man, whom he knew to be a Leipreachan and knowing the story about the crock of gold he said that
