  1. General Mitchell lived at the castle of Castlestrange. He had two sons the Major and the Captain. The major was fond of rearing pheasants and the little insects known as ants were considered good food for them. There was a funny man named Dan Kenny employed on the estate.
    One very hot day, the Major spent a few hours in the wood, searching for ants for his pheasants. He met Dan and asked him if he saw any ants that day. "Well yer Honour I saw yer own two 'Aunts' walking up the avenue an hour ago." was the smart reply from Dan.
