  1. As I lie down to sleep,
I give my heart and some to God to keep.
The Blessed Virgin Mary comes to waken me, for fear anything would come to hurt or harm me.
There are four corners on my bed, Four Angels over spread, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. God bless the bed that I lie on.
The night of a storm an old woman's prayer is that the Lord may raise the wind above the house.
God bless and save the people and preserve them from all harm.
if I die before I Rise, I leave my some to God. lord be the flower and Lady be the branch. Blessed Virgin Mary, maybe with me, at my dying hour.
