    With a wild, unearthly yell, the two boys gave one big leap and off they went tearing and roaring along the road. They never paused until they reached home safe and sound, sadder and wiser men. They never played a game of cards after that, to the great delight of their father who rejoiced in his old age and gave them his blessing when he was dying.
