neediness in Shadlock lake. The old priest according to local tradition is buried in Kiltultogue Graveyard. Presently this Graveyard is closed and the place planted with trees. It was planted some 12 years ago.
The words of our charming Irish poet, Brian O'Higgins can be well applied to this hallowed and forgotten place.
"When our Faith was banned by tyrant laws,
And our Alters in ruin lay,
When the blighting gloom of the Penal blight
    Lay dark one Freedom's Day.
On this ledge the Sacred Host was laid
    And the hunted Saggarth there
offered up to Heaven the Holy Mass.
While the hounds of the law were near"
