  1. The house presently occupied by Mr Charles Mee at Emlamore was once the residence of Mr Coume who was Goldsmith's uncle.
    The house although somewhat remodelled shows a distinct type of architecture.
    Goldsmith visited here and spent much of his time wandering around the surrounding district. Some say that this district is portrayed in "Sweet Auburn".
    There is a carved stone still lying close to the house. The carving is not clear, apparently shape of dog or horse.
