  1. Caulfield was our local landlord. He was a very good landlord. He would not press poor people for rent and he was very charitable. Caulfields principal residence was in England. There were several evictions in this district by bad agents unknown to him. Tithes were collected formerly for the prodestant Ministir in oats. A certain number of stooks of oats from each farmer.
