  1. There is on graveyard in this parish. It is in the village of Cloontuskert and it is still in use. It is round in shape and there in an abbey there which is in ruins. The graveyard slopes towards the West.
    There are trees growing there and some of them are very old. There are many tombs in it and also monuments and crosses. The crosses are made of wood, iron and stone. There is one part of the graveyard called the "stranger's plot, in which strangers are buried. It is said that a non-Catholic cannot be buried in
