- There are a number of old houses in this village. They are built of stone and mud and all of them are thatched. Some of them have three apartments, two rooms and a kitchen. A rude fireplace was constructed at the gable wall. A hole was bored in the roof and a bottomless bucket served as a chimney.
The walls of the houses were five feet high. The furniture of the rooms consisted of an oak bed and a table and in some houses there were chests which served as presses. The(continues on next page)- Collector
