    So he ordered a barrell of tar to be put down The kings son went out to the pony and told him. Now said the pony the lord will be burned to atems and let you go into your room and take off your clothes and rub yourself all over with the water of this bottle.
    The lord will leap into the tar and will be burned and will never leave it. When you have the water well rubbed on you can jump in out until your are tired. The lady was sitting in her arm chair and the tar burning in the yard. Up comes the lord and jumps into it and he never left it until he was burned to jelly. When the kings son has himself well rubbed with the water he came on and leaped in and out until he was tired. She stood up and shook hands with him and said I wlll be your wife. Himself and herself got married and they lived happy together.
