    told his fairy folk to watch the waters of St James Well in Kilmacoo and if the water remained clear during the fight he was winning.
    For three days and nights they watched by the well-side and on the evening of the third day the water suddently became muddy and immediately they knew that their king was slain.
    They mourned hime for many days and buried him on the top of Mullagh-na-Sidhe.
