  1. There were a party of ladies and gentlemen who used to come from Tir Na Nog once a year. They used to come on white steeds. There was a man living in a house near to where these riders used to pass. His name was Jack Byrne. Among those riders was a beautiful young lady. The man liked this lady, and he said the next time she would come he would hie and pull he rout of the saddle. The next year the riders came again. The man caught the girl and brought her home.
