    Once upon a time there was a woman living in a haunted house in this district.

    Once upon a time there was a woman living in a haunted house in this district. One night when she went to bed she heard a noise in the kitchen. She got up and to her great surprise saw hundreds of dead people dancing in the kitchen. She went up to the fire and saw a woman stirring something, when the woman who was stirring it saw her she said "Will ya stir this, if ya plaze." The woman said "Faith, I will, a graheen." She kept on stirring the stuff till she noticed a boy whom she knew, and who only died a few days before that, hiding behind another fellow. She went down and said to him: Musha Jonnie! an sure I thought the only buried you a few days ago." The boy was about to strike her with a stick when another man stopped him and told her to be going about her business
