    1) Being on my way the other day
    From Wicklow on through Leinster
    I stopped at an inn near Timolin
    To get a glass of rum sir
    I being a tourist I asked the host
    Feeling somewhat weary.
    If he well know the length all through
    Of the road to Tipperary
    He answered me with courtesy
    Indeed I don't know well sir
    Just there below as on you go
    You'll meet with one can tell sir
    So just step on, he won't be gone
    For that is his station
    For to reply to those pass by
    For that's his occupation
    You may depend on him my friend
    He is a true relation
    Just in his face you can it trace
    Without more hesitation
    So on I went pleased and content
    At what the landlord stated
    Nor did detain but to him came
    And these words to him repeated
    "How far," said I unto Athy
