  1. Old cures
    People in olden days had cures for almost every ailment. There was no such thing as a doctor sent for. There was a cure for;
    Whooping cough
    This cure was always tried and was always successful . The child that was suffering from the cough was put in and out three times under a donkeys legs and making the sign of the cross each time.
