    it sounded as if it were near her. She stopped and listened for a minute and she heard an old woman say "Sh, Sh there is a woman beside you and keep quiet." The woman milked her cows and she left down her can while she looked around to see if there were anyone there, but when she went to lift her can again it was gone.
    The Ardgallagher fort is supposed to be the residence of the Danes. There is an old lane leading to this fort and thousands of carriages were met on this land long ago.
