    Most of the coins are gone out of use now. Some of the coins that are to be had now are known as a "tanner", "bob" or "quid".

  2. In olden times shops were scarce and the people had to go a long way for their goods. Shops were plentiful in the country and they used to sell tobacco and sugar and tea. Old men and women generally owned these shops. Some of them used to live alone and they would set up a little shop because they were lonely and they liked
